Screen Reader Access

The Directorate of Vigilance and Anti-Corruption website complies with World Wide Web Consortium (W3C) Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.0 level AA. This will enable people with visual impairments to access the website using assistive technologies, such as screen readers. The information of the website is accessible with the below screen reader.

Non Visual Desktop Access - NVDA

Steps to enable the screen reader:

1. Download the software from the link provided.

2. Run the executable file and install NVDA application.

3. Screen reader will be enabled automatically.

4. It can be configured to function on loading of Windows OS itself.

Control Keys :

a. 'Ctrl' or 'SpaceBar' key will 'Stop' the audio.

b. 'Shift' key will 'Pause' the audio.

Note :

i. NVDA - Screen Reader performs well in Chrome, Microsoft Edge and Firefox.

ii. To quit Screen Reader - open system tray, double click the NVDA icon and select 'Exit'.
