Rural Development & Panchayat Raj

☆ A case was registered against a Panchayat President, Edappirai Village, Polur Taluk, Tiruvannamalai District into the allegation of demand and acceptance of bribe of Rs.25,000/- from the complainant for appointing her as Tank Operator as well as not appointing a new person for the Tank Operator post in Edappirai Village.

☆ A case was registered against a Panchayat President, Kilpattu Panchayat, Polur Taluk, Tiruvannamalai District and his husband into the allegation of demand and acceptance of bribe of Rs.30,000/- from the complainant for allotting the house under PMAY Scheme and issuing house tax receipt.
